The album Nordterra brings together the calm elegance of Nordic music and the vibrant warmth of Mediterranean culture.
Composed by Glen Montanaro and Walter Vella, a veteran Maltese saxophonist, the album also features the Danish counterpart - Carsten Landors and Kenneth Dahl Knudsen.
This group of musicians combines diverse backgrounds and spans a wide age range, blending traditional approaches with fresh ideas. As the project leader, Glen Montanaro focused on creating a space where these contrasting influences could come together and create something unique.
Nordterra offers a thoughtful exploration of collaboration, where different musical worlds meet and find common ground.
